Our split-face Valley Stone is available tumbled, which provides an antique look to projects. And our solid Versa-Lok Retaining Walls are available in five unique Atlantic Colours.
V.J Rice Concrete's brick and block are attractive, low maintenance, durable and energy conserving, and they offer excellent long-term value. They are virtually maintenance free. They require no washing or painting, do not rot, corrode, warp or fade.
Masonry is non-combustible and therefore offers a greater degree of safety and security. Furthermore, masonry is an excellent noise dampening material that effectively reduces sound transmission, adding to your family's comfort.
Block and brick are energy conserving and cost efficient. It typically requires up to 8 hours to allow a 15°C (30°F) temperature transfer to occur, versus only a few minutes for siding. Therefore inside the building, the temperatures are typically more constant (warmer in winter, cooler in summer), allowing you to benefit from lower energy requirements.
In addition to the Valley Stone line of brick and block V.J. Rice Concrete provides a full range of sizes and product types of standard masonry units including specialty block, from 50mm (2") to 300mm (12").
