Precast Concrete Products
V.J. Rice Concrete manufactures a wide variety of high quality precast products.
V.J. Rice Concrete septic tanks are made in two sections with a tongue and a groove joint. The joint is sealed with a butyl rubber sealant. All tanks are reinforced and are manufactured in compliance with CSA B66. The inlet baffle and all required covers are precast in the top section of the tank. Alternatively, tanks can be ordered with plastic risers and covers, permitting the customer the option of bringing the "chimney" near or at ground level. A (recommended) effluent filter, or an outlet tee is used at the outlet end. V.J. Rice Concrete septic tanks can be delivered from stock on short notice and can be set in place with our boom equipped trucks.
Custom steps are available
in a wide range of different widths, platform depths, and number of risers.
Both front entrance and side entrance steps can be manufactured and are delivered
and installed by our experienced workmen.
Wrought iron railing for your custom step is optional. However, a good quality
set of railings will add both safety and beauty to your new step.
Concrete well crocks and covers are manufactured in three sizes 30", 36", and 48". These well crocks are interlocking and are 30" in height. The width of the well crock's wall is 2.5" on the 30" and 36" well crocks. On the 48" well crock the width of the wall is 3.5".
In addition, we manufacture a range of smaller residential precast items such as curbs, splash pads, and patio block.
